Calibration logs and restorations
Photographic documentation of component-level tube amplifier restorations, hand-wired circuit paths, and precision fret calibrations executed under real string tension.

Meticulous bench execution
We document every restoration at the component level. These macro records verify schematic tolerances, solder integrity, and hand-crowned fretwork before any instrument leaves our bench.

Recent bench restorations
Three historically significant instruments returned to road-ready calibration. We preserve original-spec components while ensuring absolute reliability under touring conditions.
1964 Tweed Restoration
1959 Sunburst Calibration
1973 Lead 100 Overhaul
Complete teardown and component-level diagnostic. Sourced period-correct iron transformers and replaced leaking signal capacitors while preserving the original point-to-point wiring layout.
Precision fret dressing and neck setup executed under actual string tension. Leveled to the thousandth of an inch to eliminate buzzing while maintaining historical action specs.
Full bias calibration and power section rebuild. Replaced unstable modern quick-fixes with original-spec components, restoring the authoritative mid-range response of the classic circuit.
Current Lead Time
Ready for the bench
Our current diagnostic queue is 14 days. Urgent tour-support calibration requests receive priority routing upon verification of dates.
We operate strictly by appointment to ensure every instrument receives undivided technical focus. Contact our intake specialist to schedule diagnostic bench time.
