Precision Bench Restoration.

A bench-run workshop dedicated to component-level tube amplifier restoration and precision guitar setups. We measure tolerances under string tension to ensure absolute road reliability.

+ WORKSHOP CAPABILITIES

Our Bench Services

We reject cheap modern quick-fixes in favor of point-to-point hand-wiring, meticulous fretwork, and historical schematic accuracy.

Fretwork Calibration

Amplifier Restoration

Circuit Modifications

Fret dressing, leveling, and hand-crowning executed under simulated string tension. We eliminate buzz and restore perfect intonation across the entire fretboard.

Complete tube amplifier overhaul including bias calibration and transformer sourcing. We work to original schematic tolerances using period-correct iron.

Hand-wired modifications built to historical standards. We replace modern circuit boards with point-to-point wiring and high-tolerance components.

■ BENCH STANDARDS

Technical Tolerances

We operate under strict engineering parameters to guarantee that your vintage equipment performs reliably under demanding touring conditions.

Fretwork Accuracy

Bench Rates & Diagnostics

Every neck setup is measured under actual string tension using precision dial indicators. Frets are leveled to within ±0.001 inches of schematic height.

Diagnostic Intake: $85 flat fee (fully applied toward the final cost of approved repairs). Hourly Bench Rate: $110 per hour for specialized labor.

Component Matching

Replacement resistors and capacitors are matched to within 1% tolerance of original manufacturer specifications to preserve historical tonal response.
